With great joy and expectation we invite you to participate in the Marian Congress to mark centenary of Fatima Apparitions of Our Lady 1917-2017 which will be organized on 29 & 30 of April, 2017 by Diocese of Raiganj in collaboration with the West Bengal Regional Bishop’s Conference and the World Apostolate of Fatima, India. 30 April also will mark the 1^st Death Anniversary of our Late Bishop Alphonsus D’Souza sj who was a great promoter of Fatima devotion in the Diocese.

Programme:

29.04.2017: For the Bishops and Delegates (50 each as expected from every regional diocese)

6.00 am to 10.30 am – Arrival and Breakfast

11 .00 am – Inaugural Session

11.45 am– Inaugural Mass

01.00 pm– Lunch

02.30 pm onwards – Educative Sessions on Fatima Narratives and Spirituality

                   Talk by Most Rev. Peter Machado, Dr. Celcio, Fr. Sunny, Fr. Babla

30.04.2017: For around 3000 delegates from Raiganj diocese and those from outside.

06.30 am – Death Anniversary Mass in the Cathedral for late Bishop Alphonsus D’Souza SJ

07.30 am – Breakfast

09.00 am – Arrival of people from various parishes

09.30 am – Rosary Procession

10.45 am – Fatima Centenary Mass – Main Celebrant His Grace Archbishop Thomas D’Souza

12.45 pm – Centenary Function

02.30 pm - Lunch

Note: Nearest Airport to Raiganj is Bagdogra  4 to 5 hrs drive OR Kolkata 1 night or 10 hrs train journey.By train from Anywhere you can come to Barsoi / Malda/ Kishanganj stations which are very close to Raiganj.
